Today we were encouraged to go talk to people. I met two 10 year old Turkish boys and we played soccer for a long time and then invited the back for the rest of the week. Then I ran into another guy who thought I was a pro soccer player in America while we were picking up trash in the park.

It was tough at first to get conversations going. But God was able to use all the small things to build relationships. We picked up trash and got so many smiles from people and many asked what we were doing. They thanked us and it was just an awesome feeling. Also, we played hacky sack and got conversations started with that. The Lord is good!

Today was awesome! We met a lot of people. We were picking up trash and people came up and started talking to us.

Hey ya'll

Today was great. We got to play soccer with some kids. We talked to a bunch of people and ate ice-cream again. It builds my relationship with the ice-cream vendors.

Today was great! Around the park, we prayer walked and played soccer. We got beat bad. It was fun though. Next we picked up trash. I enjoyed it a lot and got to talk to a police officer riding on a bike. We got rained out again today. Personally, I liked it. At the store we were practicing talking to people and starting conversations.

I got the honor of carrying a foot or longer radish and asking what it was.

Today, we got to start "sowing." I noticed that it isn't hard to talk to the people once you're used to saying simple German words. We picked up trash around the park by choice and people began to wonder. We also got attention by us just playing around. Everyone was interested in why we were here and where we were from. Also, JW and I bought scarfs and we're going to ask someone how to wear it. (Since i don't have a scarf) Well, love ya lots. have a great week! Tschues!

Hallo! Today we "sowed" in our area. We picked up trash from the park which opened the door to many conversations. Holy Spirit led me to a particular area that had a grandmother and 3 grandchildren eating. After picking up trash for several minutes I felt led to give them the clovr flower necklace I had made earlier. Then I made more so all the girls could have some. The grandmother gave me a slice of watermelon, and then all of our group when she saw them. She tried to talk to me, but she didn't know English. But her grandson did, and we talked for a few minutes. We asked them to come back tomorrow and they said they would.

Today we picked up trash in the park. It was amazing, the opportunities it opened up. People smiled at us and were much more friendly today. My ministry leader, (LJ) said in the two months she's been here, she hasn't seen natives smile at us like that... we also did lots of things as a group, which was unexpected. A Muslim lady saw us picking up trash and talked to us and gave us watermelon. A lady police officer said what we were doing was amazing because German kids never do things like that. In the train station some of the girls and I all had our Bibles out. A deaf man came and sat right beside JW and I and kept looking at our bibles and at us. He kept staring with such longing. We met many more people too!

Yesterday when we walked into our park we noticed alot of trash. God put on our hearts that we needed to pick them up. Today we picked up trash. God allowed this to be a tool for us to open up to people. People really were shocked Americans would come and clean their park. I am having a great time. Love y'all. Tschues!

Today was flippin' sweet. We lived life and missioned at the same time. Today was our sowing day which means we were supposed to start conversations with people. The park we are at is totally trashed so we picked up all the trash. It was cool because we could tell people really appreciated what we were doing. A few conversations got started just by us picking up trash. Then we went and ate, while eating this woman that worked there asked me how to say something in English. I felt like God was telling me to go back there tomorrow, so I am. Then we went into a supermarket and practiced walkign up to people and starting conversations. It was one of the FUNNIEST things and I got to talk to some people. While in there we found some "learn English" books and I bought two and I'm going back to the Restuarant with my book to see if she can help me with my German. Pray that I can build a relationship with that girl.
