JK, Greenville, Silver

Amazing building architecture Graffetti on most everything saw many people dressed Gothic, not just young people, but many adults 40 plus. Beautiful churches, steeples, etc. but no spirit, to me disrespectful of what was originally built to honor God.

Well today wasinteresting... and never ending, while everyone at home is sleeping, I'm on a bus in the middle of the day time trying to stay awake. When we got to Cologne we all noticed that the style here is sooo different. Its like everyones clothes are too small, but its still cool to see the culture change. I'm really excited to taste the ice cream. I heard its the best ever. I can't wait to see the things God is going to do here. Love, MEL

Germany is nothing like I had imagined it to be! There are so many different types of people from all over the world. Some thing I noticed to pray for was their only view of Christianity. The only thing representing God and Christianity is the Dom, which is the big cathedral which is now a tourist attraction. I think it would be so cool to see the Dom turn to actual Christian church again.

Today we finally made it to Germany. It's so aweosme here! There culture is so cool! We walked around today and went to a Cathedral. Man its so pretty there. If only it was still a church were we went and worshiped and came together as one! They spell there ton like Koln how cool is that! O Snap they have teh coolest slug bugs ever! I love it here. They have Starbucks, McDonalds, and weird but cool stuff everywhere!

Today has really been awesome, ya'll won't believe the great pictures I'm getting. I'm seeing people and automatically thinking, "Oh Lord not him." The Kingdom of God isn't made for only the outgoing nice people who are easy to talk to, its for everyone. Prayer that I'll put my wall down and easily be able to talk to with anyone, pray that the Holy Spirit will be present in all of our lives, to so that we will be His witnesses. Pray 4 us, and God bless.

Today, we basically just became aquainted with the area. This involved a whole bunch of walkikng and trying to understand crazy maps that included no directions in English. Dealing with jet lag and running on 2 days of no sleep can make this situation difficult. But God blessed us with the strength to stay awake through the day and work out our difficulties. Now that I have a pretty good sense of direction, I'm so ready to go out and meet new people and start planting seeds. Please pray for our groups and the connections we make this week, that God's will be done.

The flight was good. The city is really different and alot of fun to figure out. I am ready to get some sleep to cap off a great 30 or so hours. I miss home but I am glad to be here.

Germany is all I've heard and more~ i say that knowing I am sleep deprived, some of the things might be hallucinations. As we walked through the city tonight, dpravity is all around and the need for Christ is great. Please pray for souls as we sow seed here.
