Hey family and friends! Mom, please give this blog address out to the family. Well, I'm nearing the end of my first day in Germany and I don't know whether I'm more jet-lagged or excited. I'll sleep and then let you know. Love to everyone!

Mom and Dad-

Things are going pretty well here. I am really tired from jet lag though-- and it stinks not being able to understand anyone. Well, I'll see ya'll Saturday.

Today, we went around the city of Koeln and used our navigational skills. At first it was kinda' hard, but it became easier as we started to recognize what signs meant. This week is going to be a wonderful experience and I wonder just how round I can get.

Hey Chaney-
Today we great but the jet lag was hard. I got to see God's glory on the plane when landing. I hope He teaches me something great here. We haved been tired and walking around Koeln today and eating some cool foods.

Today was an interesting day. I tried some new food and for the most part-- liked it. I really like Germany, it was pretty fun riding the subway train. This week is going to be awesome. I pray that we are able to do God's will in Germany.. and that we are able to get something out of this experience that we may be able to use in our home town.

I miss and love ya'll. I am having the time of my life. Pray that we will all be focused on what God wants and not get caught up in our hopes.

I had to wake up at 5:45 am to go catch the plane. Then after an hour delay in N.L. we were on our way to Germany. 8 hours later we had arrived. Still not in Koeln, we had a two hour bus ride a head of us. We checked into our hostel-- got some rules, and headed out into the city. It's very crowded here and fast paced. We are tired and ready to pass out. Please pray for our strength for the week. I'm out!!

Dear Family!

I really like my team and my team leader is super awesome, she rocks.

I miss ya'll... the sentence above was written by my team leader. Talk to ya later. Give this to my mom so she can send it to everyone.

Hi from Koeln! We arrived safe and sound after a very nice flight. It was a very beautiful bus drive here-- rolling hills, small farms and villages. But Koeln is a very large city. I love the transportation systems in Europe and after we checked into our hostel we divided into our treks and headed through the city on a scavenger hunt. They've kept us moving because we are all so tired and ready for bed-- which they have promised we can do at 8:00 pm! Yeah! There are so many people and they appear to be from many countries. It will be a great week. Pray Ephesians 6:19 for us!
